Chopper hired by Total makes emergency landing at sea

A Dolphin helicopter chartered by oil and gas firm Total E&P Indonesie made emergency landing Thursday morning at sea near Total?s Bekapai platform. The chopper, which carried 6 people including 2 Total employees and 2 contractor workers, was forced to use floater after experiencing engine failure. No one was injured in the accident.
Total Indonesie spokesperson Ananda Idris said that the chopper was chartered from Indonesian Air Transport with main task to transport personnel to and from platforms. Ananda said that the chopper had been transported back to land using crane barge. (alex)
