Churchill Mining announces executive director of Indonesian unit

UK mining firm Churchill Mining Plc announced Thursday the appointment of Paul W Benjamin as an executive director to its wholly owned Indonesian subsidiary, PT Indonesia Coal Development (ICD).

 

“ Benjamin's great experience both in Indonesia and in the coal and power industry will be of enormous benefit to Churchill as we develop and expand our coal projects within the country,” Paul Mazák, Joint Managing Director of Churchill, said in a statement.

 

Benjamin, who holds an MSc Economics from California State University , Fullerton and an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration (AAS) from Essex County College, New Jersey, is an Indonesian national who has lived, worked and been educated in the UK, USA and Australia .

 

Churchill said Benjamin will assist ICD with business in Indonesia , especially in relation to research and advice on non-geological technical matters.

 

Churchill is currently carrying out exploration program in two coal projects in East Kalimantan . (Robert)
