Cibalapulang mini hydro power plant to operate end 2013

The Cibalapulang mini hydro power plant in Sukabumi, West Java, is expected to start commercial operation at the end of this year, according to Noor Wahyu Hidayat, Chief Business Development Officer at PT Medco Power Indonesia, which develops the project.
?The 3x3 MW power plant project has been completed about 60 percent of the target,? Wahyu told Petromindo.com recently.
Medco Power started developing the project immediately after acquiring it from the previous developer last year. ?The previous developer could develop the project, that?s why we took it over,? he said, without disclosing the name of the developer.
