Cikarang Listrindo sets up shipping subsidiary

IDX-listed power producer PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk said it has set up a new subsidiary called PT Bahtera Listrindo Jaya (BLJ), which will be engaged in shipping business.
The company said in a statement on Tuesday that it owns 99.99 percent stake of BLJ, which is set up to support shipment of coal for its power plants. No further details were provided.
Cikarang started operation in September of its second coal-fired power plant with capacity of 2x140 MW in Babelan, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province.
With the operation of the new power plant, the company?s total power plant capacity has now increased to 1,144 MW.
