Pertamina-controlled Cilacap-1 refinery in Central Java will undergo a regular turnaround early in July that will last for about three weeks, a company official said Friday.
Pertamina's deputy director of processing Dwi Kushartoyo told reporters that the turnaround would not affect national fuel supply, as other refineries would cover the temporary production decrease resulted from the stoppage.
Cilacap-1 crude distillation unit (CDU) has the capacity of 118,000 barrels per day (BPD) while Cilacap-2 has the capacity of 230,000 BPD.
Meanwhile, Cilacap is Indonesia's biggest refinery with total installed capacity of 348,000 BPD. The facility supplies 65 percent of Java-Bali fuel requirement. (godang)
