The first unit of the 2 x 300 MW Cilacap coal-fired power plant in Central Java is expected to start supplying electricity to the Java-Bali grid in January next year, a company official said Wednesday.
?The second unit will follow in April,? PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) president Samiudin told reporters after a hearing with the House of Representatives' Commission VII. PJB is a subsidiary of state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.
The Cilacap power plant is owned and operated by PT Sumber Segara Primadaya (SSP).
