Cilacap power plant may be shut down as coal supply runs out

Cilacap 2x300-MW power plant in central Java may be forced to shut down its entire unit today as coal supply in the stock pile runs out due to rough sea that  blocked   vessel from unloading coal, a company official said.
?Coal supply only lasts until four this afternoon, and so far, there is no sign that the wave will, ease, Cilacap will have to shut down today,? Gandung Sulaiman, CEO of PT. Sumber Segara Primadaya, the owner of the power plant told Petromindo.Com.
Java waters is hit by 5-6 meters wave, making it impossible for coal vessel to berth unloading port. (godang)
