Cimandiri hydro power plant to start construction early 2014

Construction of the planned Cimandiri mini hydro power plant in Sukabumi, West Java, is expected to start in early 2014, said President Director of PT Sulawesi Indo Energy, Ari Rahim to Petromindo.com recently.

Sulawesi Indo, a sister company of PT Tiara Indotim Energy, is the developer of the power plant project. ?We?re currently in the process of completing land acquisition,? Ari said.

He said that construction of the 3 MW power plant requires about 16 months to complete. Therefore, if construction process starts early next year, the plant can start commercial production in 2015, Ari said.
