Cipta Kridatama wins two new mining service projects

Contractor mining service company PT Cipta Kridatama has secured two mining service contracts in Kalimantan with the expected total output of between 10 million tonnes and 12 million tonnes.

President director PT Cipta Kridatama Boedi Santosa said that the two projects were mining services to the companies operating in South and East Kalimantan provinces with the contracts being valid for above 5 years.

?The first construction phase would commence in second quarter next year as it is still waiting for the heavy equipments,? Boedi said. He declined to disclose the name(s) of the company.

PT Cipta Kridatama currently has seven clients namely PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT Harum Energy, PT Titan Mining Energy, PT Kaltim Batu Manunggal, PT Multi Harapan Utama, PT Tunas Inti Abadi with the total of nine projects.

The company targeted the overburden removal would reach 120 million tonnes this year with the stripping ratio on coal production of 8:1. As of the first six months of this year, the overburden removal was between 52 million tonnes and 53 million tonnes, higher than the same period of 49 million tonnes in 2010. (Giok)
