Cirebon Electric Power seeks coal suppliers

PT Cirebon Electric Power seeks expressions of interest from potential suppliers of thermal Coal for its Cirebon Power Project to be located near Cirebon West Java.
Indicative quantities being sought are 1- 3 Million metric tonnes of coal per annum commencing in 2011. The nominated supply periods are 5 years with renewal possibility.
The basic coal specification is as follows (all reported as gross, as received basis)
• Calorific Value (Kcal/Kg) 4,200 - 5,000
• Sulphur (%) 0.2 Maximum
• Ash (%) 5 Maximum
• HGI 42-51
• Total Moisture (%) 22 - 34
Potential suppliers must be able to demonstrate proven mineable reserves which could supply the Project for the duration of the coal contract. Suppliers must also be able to demonstrate sufficient existing mining capacity for the proposed nominate supply tonnage.
Only coal producers will be able eligible for consideration.

Response to this Expressions of Interest shall be submitted electrically to the cep@marston.com by: 5:00 PM Friday 5th of October 2007. The successful candidates will be provided with additional information and documentation regarding the project. (*)
