Cirebon expansion set to achieve financial closing in Q1

The 1x1000 MW PLTU Cirebon Expansion project is set to achieve financial closing in the first quarter of this year, a senior official of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said on Thursday.
?It is going to achieve financial closing in the near future, at the end of first quarter, hopefully in April,? Director General of Electricity Jarman told Petromindo.com.
The project belongs to PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana, a consortium comprising of Marubeni Corporation, Indika Energy Tbk, Samtan Co. Ltd, Korea Midland Power Co. Ltd, and Chubu Electric Power Co. Inc. The firm has signed Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) with PLN for the 1000 MW project.
