Citic says Seram reserves up by 4.6MMBO

Hong Kong-based CITIC Resources Holdings Limited reported on Monday that proven reserves Seram-Non Bula oil block in Maluku has increased by 4.6 million in 2008.

The company said the increase wax attributable to the successful discovery of the area of Nief Utara A and the re-entry in the area of East Nief.

The company did not give detail about the block?s total proven reserves.

Citic is the block operator of the block, which produced 3,500 BPD of oil in the fourth quarter of 2008, with 51 percent interest. (denny).
