Citra Kebun to commence smelter construction in 2013

IDX-listed PT Citra Kebun Raya Agri Tbk unveiled plans to build smelter for iron ores with the construction phase to start next year.
The smelter is expected to commence operation in 2015 with a capacity of 500,000 tons of iron ores per year.
Corporate Secretary Citra Kebun Raya Agri Dexter S Putra told Petromindo.com that the company was currenly seeking cooperation with a third party for the technology of the planned smelter.
Dexter said that the company targets to produce 1 million tons of iron ores next year including from its Persada Indo Tambang (PIT) mine in West Sumatra.
