Citra to complete rig for Exxon in time

PT Citra Tubindo Engineering expects to finish the works on a rig for ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd in August, right on schedule.
President Director Kris Wiluan said that the contract, which is valued at US$60 million, requires the works to be completed in 8 months, which falls in August.
?That means this project is predicted to be completed on time,? he said on the sidelines of a visit by Industry Minister M.S. Hidayat to the company?s manufacturing facility in Kabil Industrial Estate, Batam, last Friday as reported by Bisnis Indonesia.
He added the rig, with 2,000 horsepower, is projected to be able to pump 160,000 barrels of oil per day. The company assambles a team of 800 people to work on the rig. Most of raw materials are imported from Thailand, South Korea and Japan.(*)
