Civil works start at Upper Cisokan hydropower project

State-owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) (PLN) stated that the development of PLTA Upper Cisokan pumped storage power plant project in West Java province has entered the civil works stage especially for Package1A and 1B (EPC).

Nasri Sebayang, PLN?s director for western part of Java told Petromindo.com recently that construction of access road in the project is currently in progress.

?We expect the entire project will be completed in 2020,? he said. The investment for the project is estimated at around US$900 million.
