CK seen on track to meet OB, coal production target

PT Cipta Kridatama (CK), a coal mining contractor, produced 66 million bank cubic meters (bcm) of overburden (OB) and 8.5 million tons of coal in the first half (1H) of 2017.

"In the first half, we produced 66 million bcm of overburden and 8.5 million tons of coal," Feriwan Sinatra, CK's President Director, said to Petromindo.com on Wednesday.

Feriwan added that the full year overburden removal volume is targeted at 137 million bcm and coal production at 17 million tons.

"CK, a subsidiary company of PT ABM Investama Tbk, is working on nine coal projects, including three coal concessions owned by PT Toba Bara Sejahtra Tbk in East Kalimantan province."
