Clough awarded contract on East Udang development project

Australian engineering and construction firm Clough Limited announced Thursday that it has been awarded contract by Indonesian firm PT NuTech Dinamika Semesta for the provision of pipelay barge Java constructor to Udang Alpha Platform at the Udang development project in Natuna Sea.
?The provision of pipelay barge Java constructor to support the installation of six new pipelines of approximately 3.5km in length each, three new hydraulic control umbilical, and associated tie-ins and risers from the wellhead to Udang Alpha Platform,? the company said in statement.
The East Udang Development Project is located in Natuna Sea in water depths of approximately 100 meters and is operated by TAC Pertamina - PT Pertalahan Arnebatara Natuna (PT PAN)
The offshore installation campaign is scheduled to start in August of 2010, and will last a minimum of 35 days with opportunities for extension, it said. (denny)
