CLP sees Indonesian coal import flat

Hong Kong power plant firm CLP Power Hong Kong Limited will import 7-8 million tonnes of Indonesian subituminous coal this year, relatively unchanged compared to last year?s import.
Business Strategy Manager Generation Edward Chiu said that Indonesian import currently contributed to 90 percent of the company?s coal requirement. He said CLP is looking to decrease dependency from Indonesian coal in the future.
Chiu said CLP?s coal suppliers included Kideco Jaya Agung and Kaltim Prima Coal. (denny)
