CNOOC reports Q1 Indonesian production

China's largest offshore oil and gas company CNOOC Limited announced Wednesday during the first quarter its Indonesian net crude oil production had reached 41,944 barrels per day or 13.5 percent of the company?s total crude production in the quarter.
Meanwhile, natural gas production was 242 million cubic feet per day or around 25 percent of the company?s total natural gas production in the quarter.
In Indonesia, CNOOC?s oil and gas production come from South East Sumatra production sharing contract (65.34 percent and operatorship), Offshore Northwest Java PSC (36.72 percent), Poleng technical assistance contract in East Java (50 percent), and Malacca Strait PSC (39.51 percent).
The company is the largest offshore oil producer in Indonesia. (robert)
