CNOOC SES opens tender for Cinta Terminal FSO

CNOOC SES Ltd, the operator of the South East Sumatra PSC (SES), announced Wednesday PQ tender for the provision, maintenance and operation of unit of floating storage offloading (FSO) at the block?s Cinta Terminal area.
In addition to various other extra requirements, the company said in the tender announcement that the FSO will have a crude oil storage capacity of between 750,000-850,000 barrels.
It added that the period of contract is planned for 2,922 days comprising of maximum 1,461 days of fixed contract, and minimum of 1,461 days period of optional contract, with the condition that the fixed period contract is valid until the expiry of CNOOC SES Ltd?s PSC on September 6, 2018.
The South East Sumatra PSC (SES) is located in the shallow water (17-55 m) of the Java Sea in southeast of Sumatra, about 90km northwest of Jakarta. CNOOC SES Ltd as operator has 65.54 percent interest in the block.
