Coal dump truck and light vehicle collide, 5 people dead

Five people are dead when a light vehicle collided head-on with a coal dump truck at the mining area of PT Gunung Bayan Pratama Coal in Jempang, West Kutai, East Kalimantan, senior official at the Ministry of Mineral and Energy Resource said on Monday.
The Ministry?s Director of Technical and Environmental unit, Syawal Lubis said that the incident took place at 10 pm on Friday.
?Our team is currently investigating the incident,? he told Petromindo.com, adding that the company?s operation was temporarily halted during the investigation.
As of this morning the cause of the incident remained unclear.
The four dead victims, passengers of the light vehicle, namely Mispan Dana (20), Dwi Meiwanto (20), Marianus Deri Dwi Arwinda (34), Visensius Katu (23), are employees of PT Delima Jaya Sukses Mandiri, while the fifth victim, Agus Haryanto, 24 was driver of the dump truck.
