Coal firm Bukit Asam to go public in June

The state-owned coal mining firm PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam would offer shares through initial public offering (IPO) in June, according to deputy for privatization program at the State Ministry of Investment and State Enterprises I Nyoman Tjager.
Nyoman was quoted by the Bisnis Indonesia daily as saying that Bukit Asam would be among of the first of the eight state enterprises to be privatized this year.
He said that state owned PT Bahana Securities had been appointed as the lead underwriter of the IPO.
The other state companies to be also privatized in June were state plantation firm PT Perkebunan IV and fertilizer firm PT Pupuk Kaltim. (*)
