Coal India completes technical review RI coal mines

India?s state-owned Coal India Ltd has completed technical review of coal mines in Indonesia which are potential for acquisition, a company official was quoted by a report on Tuesday.
The official declined to disclose details about the Indonesian mine, but said it was part of 17 offers received by the company.
Coal India said late last year it was looking to acquire coal assets overseas including in Indonesia in line with the Indian?s government?s strategy to help cope with domestic coal shortage. (*)
