Coal producers can still export: Minister

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Zahedi Saleh denied on Thursday rumors that the National Energy Council (DEN) has recommended the government suspend coal exports to ensure coal supplies on the domestic market.
He said the DEN has never made such a recommendation.
?Some 35 percent of the national coal production would be sent to export markets, while the remaining 65 percent would be allocatd for domestic market,? said the minister. (godang/bernard)
