For Bituminous Coal for Boryeong Thermal Power Plant
1. Bid No. : KOMIPO-Bid Notice -2009-7
2. Materials and Quantity to be Procured
Materials: Bituminous Coal or Sub-bituminous Coal
Quantity and shipping schedule
Spec: Min. 4,800kcal/kg NAR
Quantity: 300,000MT
Shipping Schedule: Sep 15, 2009 ~ Dec 31, 2009
Lots : Either 60,000MT(+/-10%) or 125,000MT(+/-10%)
3. Procurement Method: International Open Bidding
4. Deadline for Bidding: 15:00 on July 28, 2009 (Korean Standard Time).
5. Qualification of Bidder : Coal producers, marketing companies or traders who do not have unfaithful track record to Korean five(5) Gencos (KOMIPO, KOSEP, KOWEPO, KOSPO and EWP) which are subsidiaries of Korea Electric Power Corporation and who shall meet the whole requirement of ITB including but not limited to coal quality specification, shipping schedule, quality, etc.
6. Bidders shall propose on FOB AND CFR basis. If a Bidder has track record of supply to 5 gencos not more than 120,000MT, it can only submit on CFR basis (FOB basis not allowed). And New Bidder who has no track record of supply to 5 gencos, JPUs, Taipower and J-Power for the past 3 years shall submit on CFR Discharging port basis amounting to maximum 60,000MT (+/-10%).
