Korea South East Power Co. Ltd.(KOSEP) is inviting a prequalification for new bidders that are willing to participate in tenders that will come,
1. Notice no.(ITB no.): KOSEP-Coal-2012-PNB01
2. Procedures for new-bidder
1) Prequalification for New-Bidders
2) Invitation to bid(only bidders who passed the prequalification requirement)
3) Bid documents Screening
4) Quality and Price Evaluation
5) Selection of the preferentially negotiable bidder selection
6) Price negotiation and the successful bidder
7) Coal Mine Investigation
8) Signing of contract
3. Qualification for new-bidders
- Any company which has not coal supply records to one of Korean 5 Gencos, Tai-Power, J-Power or any Korean Steel Maker shall meet one of the following conditions to be qualified in this bidding
1) A Mine Owner which has ownership of more than 5% of the share of the mine from which coal to be supplied in this bidding
2) A Marketing Company whose finance is provided by more than 51% by the mine owner in the 1.
3) A Trading Company which has more than 10% of the share of a mine of which the annual production amount is well surpassing 200,000 tons.
4) A trading Company which has ever successfully exported more than 120,000 tons(2Panamax shipment) of coal in recent three years from which coal to be supplied in this bidding
- New bidders who acquires qualification for tender participation shall be under review of their qualification on a yearly basis
4. Contents of documents to be submitted
- The documents shall include evidences on whether the new bidder meets one of qualifications aforementioned in Article 3.
5. Closing date : 18:00 on September 18, 2012(Korean Standard Time)
7. Submittal of Documents
- The document shall be submitted in person, by mail, by e-mai, or courier to the following address not later than the closing date.
