COAL TENDER : KOSEP-Wood Pellet-2014-SP14

Korea South East Power Co. Ltd.(KOSEP) is inviting a bid for the supply of Wood Pellet from qualified suppliers on ITB for Samcheonpo Power Plant as follows,
1. Bid Notice no.(ITB no.): KOSEP-Wood Pellet-2014-SP14
2. Materials, Quantity to be Procured and Delivery
- Quantity to be procured : 54,000MT
- Delivery : October 25th ~ December 24th, 2014
- Qualified Bidders : Refer to ITB
- Contract Price : DDU only
- Calorific Value : Min. 3,900kcal/kg NAR
- Bidders are requested to offer from minimum of 3,000 Metric Tons up to 54,000 Metric Tons on DDU basis. In the event of customs clearence, the quantity of each customs cleasrance shall be limited minimum 500 Metric Tons.
For DDU basis, bidders shall submit the price basis on Samcheonpo Power Plant.
3. Procurement Method: International Open Bidding as per ITB
4. Bid closing date: 14:00 on October 14th, 2014. (Korean Standard Time)
5. Qualification of Bidder : As per Clause 2, Chapter I in ITB. KOSEP-Wood Pellet-2014-SP14
6. Compliance with Invitation to Bid
Bidders shall prepare and submit the Bid in compliance with the procedures and requirements as provided in ITB. Any failure to do so may give KOSEP a reason to reject or to unfavorably evaluate the bid. Bidders shall be regarded as having been thoroughly acquainted with and having accepted all the contents of the ITB. Upon submission of bid documents, Bidders are thereafter regarded as having agreed to fully comply with the terms and conditions of the contract.
7. Validity Period of the Bid
The bid including the price shall be bound as a firm offer and valid for a period of at least fifteen (15) business days after the bidding closing date. KOSEP may request the bidder to extend the validity period of the bid, if necessary.
8. Submission of Bid Document
In the event that the bid documents are submitted to KOSEP in person, the Bidder shall submit to the following address no later than the deadline.
