for Steaming Coal Supply Contract(for TAEAN Power Plant)

2. Material and quantity to be procured
a. Material : Sub-bituminous steam coal
b. Quantity and shipping schedule
Steam Coal (Specification) : NCV min. 5,700 kcal/kg
Quantity per annum : 440,000MT +/- 10%
Price (For CY1) : One Single Fixed U$ per mt
Shipping Schedule At Loading Port during Contract Year 1 : 2015, 3Q~4Q : 220,000MT / 2016, 1Q~2Q : 220,000MT
- The difference between the guaranteed NCV and the limit of range for NCV shall be less than 100kcal/kg (within 100kcal/kg)
(1) Shipment Size & Delivery Term :
- Spec A : Mini Cape(110,000mt) on FOBT basis
(2) Term of the Contract : 5 Years
- Starting from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2020
※ The prices for the remaining Contract Years (CY2 ~ CY5) shall be determined by mutual agreement of the both parties.
(3) Additional quantity supply
On the basis of mutual agreement, additional quantity can be sold and purchased and addendums for the additional tonnage shall be attached to the original contract.
(4) Coal Mine
Each shipment of coal to be purchased by KOWEPO and delivered by the Bidder shall be entirely supplied from a single mine. Supply of coal for any shipment from more than one mine may not be allowed. Upon request `by KOWEPO, a Bidder shall provide to KOWEPO`s satisfaction relevant supporting documents including certificates issued by the relevant authorities of the exporting country to demonstrate the legal status and current situation of the coal mine from which the coal would be supplied.

4. Deadline for Bidding: 11:00 AM, June 23, 2015 (Korea Standard Time)
5. Qualification of Bidder
Coal production company or Marketing Company orTRADING COMPANY only those who has performed or performing following contract during the recent three(3) years;
a) at least one (1) year coal supply term contract of no less than 60,000MT per annum to one of the five (5) power generation companies(KOWEPO, KOSEP, KOMIPO, KOSPO, and EWP) or major power generation companies(or electric power companies) in Taiwan, Japan or major steel mill companies in Taiwan, Japan and Korea, or
b) coal supply spot contract of minimum 60,000MT to KOWEPO. However, if Bidder has supplied 1 panamax(60,000MT to 70,000MT) to KOWEPO, the Bidder shall submit a letter of guarantee concerning the freight costs (including demurrage cost, dead freight, port charges etc.) in order to be awarded as a successful bidder on a FOBT basis.

7. The Bid documents shall be submitted in person, by mail or courier to the address below not later than the deadline.
