for Steaming Coal Supply Contract (for TAEAN Power Plant)

- The difference between the guaranteed NCV and the limit of range for NCV shall be less than 100kcal/kg (within 100kcal/kg)
- The buyer shall be entitled to deduct US$2 of penalty per each ton if the certified NCV exceeds 5,000kcal/kg for NCV
- Bidders shall propose the evenly spread shipment per quarter during Contract Year 1 (Minimum 1 CGO for 2015, 4Q and Minimum 1 CGO for 2016, 1Q)
(1) Shipment Size & Delivery Term :
- Spec C : Panamax(75,000mt) on FOBT basis only
(2) Term of the Contract : 5 Years
- Starting from November 1, 2015 to March 31, 2020
- 1st CY : November, 2015 ~ March, 2016 / 2nd CY : April, 2016 ~ March, 2017
※ The prices for the remaining Contract Years (CY2 ~ CY5) shall be determined by mutual agreement of the both parties.
(3) Additional quantity supply
On the basis of mutual agreement, additional quantity can be sold and purchased and addendums for the additional tonnage shall be attached to the original contract.
(4) Coal Mine
Each shipment of coal to be purchased by KOWEPO and delivered by the Bidder shall be entirely supplied from a single mine. Supply of coal for any shipment from more than one mine may not be allowed. Upon request `by KOWEPO, a Bidder shall provide to KOWEPO`s satisfaction relevant supporting documents including certificates issued by the relevant authorities of the exporting country to demonstrate the legal status and current situation of the coal mine from which the coal would be supplied.

4. Deadline for Bidding: 11:00 AM, September 30, 2015 (Korea Standard Time)
5. Qualification of Bidder
Coal production company or Marketing Company orTRADING COMPANY only those who has performed or performing following contract during the recent three(3) years;
a) at least one (1) year coal supply term contract of no less than 60,000MT per annum to one of the five (5) power generation companies(KOWEPO, KOSEP, KOMIPO, KOSPO, and EWP) or major power generation companies(or electric power companies) in Taiwan, Japan or major steel mill companies in Taiwan, Japan and Korea, or
b) coal supply spot contract of minimum 60,000MT to KOWEPO. However, if Bidder has supplied 1 panamax(60,000MT to 75,000MT) to KOWEPO, the Bidder shall submit a letter of guarantee concerning the freight costs (including demurrage cost, dead freight, port charges etc.) in order to be awarded as a successful bidder on a FOBT basis.

7. The Bid documents shall be submitted in person, by mail or courier to the address below not later than the deadline.
