TENDER NOTICE
SUPPLY OF IMPORTED COAL
Sealed superscribed competitive offers are invited from interested parties for supply of 20,000 MT + 10% imported coal. Tender documents containing the technical specification, commercial conditions etc. can be down loaded from our website www.malabarcements.com up to 20.06.2009, 4.00 PM. The due date for submission of the Tender is 22.06.2009 by 2.00 PM. Part-I of the tender will be opened on the same day by 3.00 PM in presence of the tenderers available.
The cost of tender document is Rs. 26,010/- inclusive of KVAT @ 4.04%. The tender shall be submitted along with the cost of tender document by way of DD favouring Malabar Cements Limited payable at Palakkad, failing which offer will be rejected.
MCL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reasons whatsoever. Late received tenders will not be considering for acceptance.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF IMPORTED COAL.
i) GCV : 6300 K.cal/Kg Minimum
ii) Total Moisture : 12% Maximum (ARB)
iii) Ash content : 15% Maximum (ADB)
iv) Volatile Matter : 18-30% (ADB)
v) Total sulphur (as sulphur) : 1% Maximum(ADB)
vi) Size of coal : 0-50 mm
