Tender Title : Procurement of 150000 MT Imported (N.C.) Coal
Tender Description : Procurement of 1.50 lakh MT Imported Coal through LTE to CPSUs
Notes to Technical Paramaters:
1. No premium shall be payable on the grounds of superiority of any of the parameters vis-?-vis those specified in above.
2. Sample collection, sample preparation, analysis and testing at destination shall be done as per ASTM standards.
3. Final quality results , for purpose of levy of penalty in case of inferiority of the parameters, shall be determined on weighted average basis for all rakes.
4. Penalty as below shall be levied in case of inferiority of the parameters with respect to
a. Total moisture : Prorate quantity reduction beyond 16%, and upto the maximum of 20%, shall be made as per formula ? for x% increase over the guaranteed Total Moisture, the weight will be reduced by x%.
b. Ash Content : Prorate quantity reduction shall be made when Ash Content increases beyond 10%, and upto the maximum of 20%, as per formula - for x% increase over the guaranteed Ash Content, the weight will be reduced by x%.
c. GCV : GCV below 6300 Kcal/kg, and upto the minimum of 5800 Kcal/kg, shall be accepted with price [FOR Despatch Point price / CIF port of discharge in India price (depending on the order terms)]
d. Total Sulphur Content : Prorate price reduction shall be made when Total Sulphur Content increases beyond 0.8%, and upto the maximum of 0.9%, as per formula - for 0.1% increase over the guaranteed Total Sulphur Content, the price[FOR Despatch Point price / CIF port of discharge in India price (depending on the order terms)] will be reduced by Rs. 10/- PMT.
The supplied materials on receipt shall be subject to inspection, testing and analysis, and acceptance/rejection at destination. Nalco?s decision regarding acceptance or rejection shall be final. The rejected goods will be returned by Nalco on ?Freight to Pay Basis? for replacement, without any financial implication to NALCO.
