Coal Tender: PJB opens tender for Paiton

PT. Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a unit state electricity firm PLN announced on Friday the opening of coal supply tender for its Paiton power plant in East Java for 2008-2009 delivery.

The company said that eligible bidders are miners which have production capacity of more than 30,000 tonnes per month, and have uncontracted volume capacity of at least 30,000 tonnes per months and have been in production for at least six months.

The company also requires coal to be transported by barge with minimum capacity of 5,000 tonnes.

The company did not give detail about the volume it sought.

Registration starts August 4 and will be closed August 12, 2008 at PJB?s office , Jalan Ketintang Baru No.11, Surabaya, East Java.
