COAL TENDER: Simhapuri Energy invites miners for long-term coal supply

Invitation to submit Expression of Interest (EOl) for
Offering Equity Stakes/Outright sale in Coal Mines (or)
Supply of Non-Coking Coal on Long Term Basis
Simhapuri Energy Limited (SEL), a Hyderabad based Power Generation Company (INDIA) is currently developing 1,920 MW coal based Thermal Power Plant at Thamminapatnam near Krishnapatnam Port, Nellore Dist, Andhra Pradesh, India, in Three Phases (Phase-I:2x150 MW, Phase-II: 2x150 MW & Phase-III: 2x660 MW). At present 4x150 MW units are in Operation and Expansion project of 2x660 MW (Phase-III) is in Development stage.
SEL immediate coal requirement is 3.0 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) and 6.0 MMTPA for its expansion project of 2x660 MW in a phased manner. Total Coal requirement of our plant is 9.0 MMTPA.
SEL invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from companies interested in offering Equity stakes /Ownership interest/Joint Operation Interest /Outright sale in coal mines or Operating coal mines who can sign long term coal supply agreement are eligible to submit their proposal to supply 3.0 MMTPA from July 2015 onwards.
