COAL to start manganese ore production this May

Indonesian mining company PT Citra Omega Alam Lestari (COAL), part of Samuel Group, recently stated it will commence production of manganese ore in May this year from its 2,222 hectare concession in Manggarai regency of East Nusa Tenggara.

?We're currently focusing on the completion of our Jetty in addition to evaluating the possibility of constructing manganese ore refinery,? Chief Operating Officer of COAL Ridony Gurning said to Petromindo.com, adding that the company expects to produce up to 20,000 tons of ore per month in the early stage, targeting popular markets such as China, India and Japan.
