Coalmine operator Arutmin exports most of its production

Kalimantan-based coal producer PT Arutmin Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources, produced about 10.55 million tons last year and 95 percent of the total production were exported, a report said on Tuesday.
In its report submitted to the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX), the publicly listed Bumi Resources said that Arutmin exported its coal mostly to Japan, Europe and several Asian countries.
In the report, Bumi Resources? president director Eddie J. Sobari said that Arutmin which obtained its contract of works to carry out coal exploration and production activities in Kalimantan in January 15, 1982, has a proven coal reserve of about 200 million tons. (*)
