Cocono to manage Dumai calcine coke refinery

Conoco is the only serious candidate to team up with the state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina to operate the calcine coke fuel refinery in Dumai, Riau, Pertamina downstream director Ariffi Nawawi said.

Ariffi said that four other candidates including Mitsubishi had pulled out.

"So far only Conoco which is very serious to operate the calcine coke refinery," he told Petromindo.com.

He said that the refinery was very prospective. He said that Conoco has the capital and expertise to penetrate the world's calcine coke market.(amoros)
