Cokal appoints mine operation manager

ASX-listed coal mining company Cokal Limited announced Tuesday the appointment of highly-experienced resource industry professional Reynold Immanuel to the new position of Mine Operation Manager.
Cokal said in a statement the appointment comes as the company continues production at its BBM Anak site in Indonesia?s Central Kalimantan Province, with a view to finalizing its first sales contracts in the near future.
Cokal?s on-site technical team has prepared comprehensive mine-plans, mining schedules and financial budgets for the initial development of a small local market for metallurgical coal, and upscaling to international markets by 2018.
As Mine Operation Manager, Immanuel will implement the mine plan and ensure BBM Anak operates efficiently and with a high level of safety meeting international standards, the company said.
Cokal said Immanuel has a strong background in managing mining operations in Kalimantan, including Project Manager, Putra Borneo Mandiri Sejahtera coal mine (South Kalimantan), Engineering Manager, Kalimantan Prima Energy Group coal mining project in East Kalimantan, and Mine Operation Manager, Indomuro Kencana gold mine (Central Kalimantan).
He offers more than 13 years? experience in exploration and mine geology, mine planning and operation.
