Cokal appoints retired general to board

ASX-listed Cokal Limited announced Wednesday the appointment of Lieutenant General (Retired) Agus Wdjojo as a Non-executive Director.
?The Board believes his appointment will provide Cokal with a depth of knowledge and experience in Indonesia to help Cokal to achieve its targets and goals in creating a successful and progressive coking coal mining business in Central Kalimantan,? the company said in a statement.
?Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Widjojo is well respected amongst Indonesia?s leaders and is considered a key contributor in the development of Indonesia?s international ties on various levels,? it added.
Agus Widjojo graduated from the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy in 1970.
