Conoco to start piping gas from W. Natuna to Malaysia in August

Conoco Indonesia Inc. Ltd, a subsidiary of US energy giant Conoco Inc. Ltd, will in August start delivering natural gas from its West Natuna field to Malaysia, company vice president Sanusi Satar said on Monday.
The Natuna gas will go to the platform of Malaysia?s state-owned petroleum firm Petronas in Duyong, Sanusi told reporters.
Sanusi said the development of the 96-kilometer gas pipeline from West Natuna to the Duyong platform would be completed in July.
Pertamina signed a 20-year agreement with Petronas in March last year to supply natural gas from the Nila Block to Malaysia. (Godang)
