State oil and gas authority BP Migas said US oil giant ConocoPhillips will sign gas sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Singapore?s Island Power Company to supply 100 million standard cubic feet per day starting 2006 on June 30 this year.
?The SPA will cover duration of 15 years and gas will be transmitted to Singapore through PGN?s S.Sumatra-Singapore pipeline,? said BP Migas senior official Joko Harsono on Thursday. He said gas would be supplied from one of ConocoPhillips? South Sumatra gas fields, and Island Power would use the gas to fuel its power plant. (godang)
