ConocoPhillips, Exspan donate Rp21.7 billion to S. Sumatra

Oil producers ConocoPhillips Indonesia and PT Exspan Nusantara, a unit of publicly listed oil firm PT Medco Energi International, have provided assistance fund of Rp21.7 billion (US$=Rp8,850) for South Sumatra Province, local daily Sriwijaya Post reported Tuesday.
The fund will be used for building two sports centers in the area.
Of the Rp21.7 billion, Rp11.2 billion was from ConocoPhillips, while the remaining balance came from Exspan.
ConocoPhillips Indonesia vice president A.R. Dudung Natanegara delivered the assistance fund to South Sumatra Governor Rosihan Dwipa in Palembang Monday.
ConocoPhillips and Exspan have oil and gas operations in South Sumatra. (*)
