ConocoPhillips opens tender for Belanak LPG-FSO

The company said that the FSO will be leased for the period of 16 years including 2 years conversion, 8 years fixed Time Charter, and 6x1 years Optional yearly extension.
It added that the vessel must be converted from a fully refrigerated LPG VLGC or existing LPG-FSO with a minimum capacity of 78,000m3. The nominated vessel must not be older than twenty years on the 1st January 2011.
The LPG-FSO must meet requirement to comply with Indonesian Laws and regulations regarding vessel flag prior to going into service, the tender announcement said.
Tentative timing for contract award is November 2011, with installation in the field taking place in first December 2013.
Contractor will be fully responsible for all aspects of the conversion (including the integration of a Company supplied turret and refrigeration plant), and installation in the Belanak field. (bernard)
