ConocoPhillips opens tender for Belida FSO

US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips announced on Monday the opening of PQ tender to provide and operate an FSO for its Belida field in Natuna Sea Block B PSC.
The tender is conducted to replace existing FSO terminal, the company said in a tender announcement.
The company requires an FSO from a converted crude tanker with minimum storage capacity of 500,000 barrels.
The duration of the charter would be for 7 years with tentative award June 2010 and installation in the field taking place in the second quarter of 2011, the company said. (alex)
