ConocoPhillips plans production increase in 2008

US oil firm ConocoPhillips will produce 210,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD) from its Indonesian operations in 2007 and is looking increase production by 20 percent in 2008, a company official said.
ConocoPhillips Indonesia President Trond-Erik Johansen told a parliamentary hearing in Jakarta on Wednesday that the company?s 2007 production would consist of 50,000 BOPD of liquids and 160,000 BOEPD of gas.
The company operates producing blocks in Natuna sea and Southern part of Sumatra including Natuna Sea Block B and Corridor Block onshore South Sumatra.
Johannson said in 2009 the company planned to increase gas production by another 10 percent.(godang/bernard)
