ConocoPhillips re-tenders Belida FSO

ConocoPhillips Indonesia Inc. Ltd. announced on Monday the opening of the Time Charter PQ re-tender to replace the existing FSO terminal at its Belida field in the Natuna Sea Block B PSC.
The Company said the FSO would be a converted crude oil tanker with minimum storage capacity of 500,000 barrels.
Duration of the Time charter would be for approximately seven years with tentative contract award is September 2010, with installation in the field taking place in fourth quarter 2011.
At the time the FSO coming into service, successful bidder will be required to comply with the requirement for flagging and vessel ownership as required under Indonesian law. (alex)
