ConocoPhillips says crude production below target

Indonesian unit of US oil, gas company ConocoPhillips said on Wednesday that its Indonesian oil, gas gross production from January to April 2011 had reached 281,000 barrel of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD).

President and General Manager ConocoPhillips Indonesia Jim Taylor told a parliamentary hearing that production from onshore blocks accounted for 168,000 BOEPD and the rest from offshore block.

Taylor said that of the total production, the company produced 61,000 BPD of oil, below the 63,600 BPD production target set by the government. The company produced 1.321 BCFD of gas during the period, 947 MMCFD of which came from onshore block production.

ConocoPhillips operates several producing blocks onshore South Sumatra including Corridor PSC block and offshore Sumatra the Natuna Sea Block B PSC. (giok)
