ConocoPhillips to announce Belida FSO PQ re-tender

Vice-Chairman Hardiono said that ConocoPhillips will announce the re-tender tomorrow (Thursday, April 7)
Earlier, four bidders have passed pre-qualification to provide and operate the FSO. The four bidders included Pacific Tanker, which is currently providing Intan FSO at Belida, PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk and PT Trada Maritime Tbk.
In January 2010 announcement, ConocoPhillips said it was conducting tender to replace existing FSO terminal. The company requires an FSO from a converted crude tanker with minimum storage capacity of 500,000 barrels.
The duration of the charter would be for 7 years with tentative award June 2010 and installation in the field taking place in the second quarter of 2011, the company said in Jan. 18. (bernard)
