ConocoPhillips to drill 3 wells at C. Kalimantan block

Indonesian unit of US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips Inc. will drill three back-to-back wells at Palangkarya PSC block onshore Central Kalimantan by the end of this year, a company official has said.

Joang Laksanto, ConocoPhillips Indonesian VP Development & Relations told Petromindo.Com on Wednesday that the company has secured an onshore drilling rig for the campaign which is owned by PT. Apexindo Pratama Duta.

The company, according to Joang, has also secured permit for two out of three wells and is waiting for permit from Palangkaraya major.

ConocoPhillips has 49% interest in the block.
