Construction of unleaded gasoline project in Cilacap refinery slated to start June

State oil and gas company Pertamina said it had opened EPC pre-qualification bid to revamp platformining process and construction of isomerization unit to produce unleaded gasoline in Cilacap refinery.
?Construction is planned to commence June this year,? said Muchsin Bahar, Pertamina downstream director in signing ceremony of EPC contract award to build unleaded gasoline facilitry in Balongan refinery.
Muchsin estimated the project would cost around US$ 100 million. The project was part of Indonesia?s effort to to phase out leaded gasoline distribution by 2007. (alex/godang)
