Construction of YY field production platform nearly complete

Upstream company PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) said that construction progress of the production platform for the development of the YY field in the ONWJ block in West Java Province has now reached around 90 percent.
“God Willing, the sail away is scheduled for March 11,” said Ifki Sukarya, Vice President for Relations at PHE, to Petromindo.com on Friday.
The YY field production platform is being fabricated at the Handil-1 Yard in Kutai Kertanegara, East Kalimantan Province, with construction process started in September of last year.
PHE is the parent of PHE ONWJ, operator of the ONWJ block. PHE ONWJ said previously that the YY field was targeted to start production at the end of this year. Production is estimated at 3,750 bpd of oil, and 20 mmscfd of gas.
PHE ONWJ has appointed local company PT Meindo Elang Indah as the EPCI contractor for the development of the YY field.
